On 26 June 2024, the International Day in Support of Victims of Torture, the Omega Research Foundation delivered a lecture to the Judiciary of Mexico City on the Istanbul Protocol.

On the International Day in Support of Victims of Torture, the United Against Torture Consortium calls on States to defend the progress made in the last decades in upholding human dignity by showing a greater commitment to ending torture worldwide.

Each year, we join with other small charities and their supporters in celebrating the work of small organisations just like ours. We’re pleased to be part of the community of small charities making a big impact.

Under the United Against Torture Consortium, Omega has been able to provide small grants to seven civil society organisations to help further their work to sustain and develop support for national, regional, and international measures to address the trade in law enforcement equipment used for torture or other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment and punishment.

On 27 May 2024, the Omega Research Foundation had the opportunity to run an online training for the Special Prosecutorial Team for cases involving victims during social protests (EFICAVIP).
