“As Used on the Famous Nelson Mandela” & “Torture is not a crime in South Africa”

Two CSPRI issues question arguments that torture can be justified under certain circumstances. It gives examples of where, inconsistent with international law, harm is unjust.

This Civil Society Prison Reform Intitiative (CSPRI) newsletter contains two issues:

“Torture is not a crime in South Africa” by Lukas Muntingh.
